About Us
Justin Henson is a Family Nurse Practitioner with a passion to see the men in his community embody the true masculinity and strength they were designed to have. Justin strives to help patients achieve their goals. Whether that be in taking fewer medications, breaking new fitness records, or finding long lost enjoyment from life, Balance Medical will take men to the next level of complete health.
Historically, men have been forced to visit a women's health center for hormone replacement because their family practitioner is less knowledgeable or even fearful of hormone therapy. Justin has filled the gap for these men by designing a guy's safe haven within a clinical practice setting. He has been trained in male hormone replacement by the American Association of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M) and implements therapies from the latest research and treatment trends in Men's Health.
His heroes in the field include Dr. John Crisler, Dr. Rand McClain, and Dr. Abraham Morgentaler along with functional medicine greats Dr. Peter Attia, Chris Kresser, Dr. Rhonda Patrick, and a few others. You will find him spending his time apart from work with his wife Ashley and his three children Thomas, Natalie, and Viviann. Whether at Hafer Park, the Arcadia trail, on the Henson family farm, or at Grand Lake with his favorite in-laws, the Henson's love spending their free time outside and with family.
Ashley Henson, a former cardiovascular nurse practitioner at Oklahoma Heart Hospital, has been an integral partner at Balance Medical. She is a necessary component in creating personalized treatment plans for patients at Balance Medical with a history of cardiovascular disease. Whether you are simply looking for hormone replacement or you are wanting a complete physical overhaul, Balance Medical is where you can attain the results you are working so hard to achieve.
Dawn Prusator, our practice manager, has a graduate degree in neuroscience, and a background in scientific research. Her experience with data management, organization, and communication, makes her a valuable asset to Balance Medical. Dawn manages the entire administrative side of our practice, and is your primary contact for questions regarding appointments, invoicing, lab work completion, and prescription refills.
